Today, Viralheat unveiled our new developer center and social data APIs. As Viralheat looks to make big data analysis technology available to any developer or company looking to integrate social into their application, we’ve updated the developer center, enhanced existing APIs, and introduced new APIs. The new platform will allow developers or companies to easily integrate social data and capabilities, including management, engagement, sentiment analysis, publishing, and monitoring, into their own applications. Developers can make any app social.
Viralheat now offers five APIs:
Analyze sentiment around your product, brand, competitors, or any keywords across the social web. Viralheat’s Sentiment API will use Natural Language Processing to understand the tone of the text and mark as positive, negative, or neutral with a percentage of certainty.
Human Intent API
Identify which leads are most likely to make a purchase based on their social media activity from directly within your app. Then use the data to approach potential customers and build out your leads list.
Monitor social mentions on Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Pinterest, Videos and tap into real-time social conversations.
URL Shortening API
Shorten links and view analytics around the number of downloads and shares, best times to post, and insight into who clicks your content. Save valuable characters by shortening the links and use the data to better understand how your content performs.
Publish to your social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ directly from with your application using Viralheat’s extensive publishing suite.
For existing Viralheat API users, the APIs will continue to be available as you’re currently using them but we encourage you to take a look at our updated Sentiment and Monitoring (formerly known as Data or Analytics) APIs. These have been enhanced with richer data and are even easier to use.
